According to the installation instructions for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13432 they say that you need to detach the muffler from the hanger to ease the installation. We have had some customers install it on their 2018 JL Wranglers though and say that the install time was very minimal so you may be able to install it without messing with the muffler like what we show in the linked install video on a 2018 JK.

I spoke with my contact at SMI regarding the vacuum line on your 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler, as it is indeed bit different than previous model Wranglers. He said that when installing the vacuum portion of the Stay-IN-Play Braking System # SM99251 you will just cut the hard plastic 8mm line like normal and install the included 3/8 inch vacuum hose. They also recommend using a worm clamp for a more secure connection.

I don't know much about the Mopar Trailer Wiring Harness as it is not one we carry but what I can tell you is that it more than likely isn't fully hooked up. By this, I mean the battery trailer charge line is most likely not run. This is really the case for any of the base plate kits we have available as it's really best to attach the breakaway switch and bracket directly to the vehicle and not an external attachment like the base plates or tow bar. Westin designs most of their kits as a no drill installation which applies here. On the pinch weld where the rocker panel meets the floor there are holes available for mounting and holes just below those to give the structural integrity.
